We refer to these as Mini/standards because of how they very in size.
We do not breed for size, but for hunting ability, agility, and prey drive.
Some of our Mini/standards will carry Decker blood as well as traditional mini & standard bloodlines.
These dogs make wonderful hunters, as well as pets, however, you need to keep in mind as pets they are still going to have the prey drive.
So if you are not willing to accept a dead squirrel, rabbit, or other varmint on your pourch or in the yard, you might want to get a poodle or something... These dogs are first and formost hunters, but after the hunt are more than willing to curl up on your lap, and don't tend to take up most of the couch as the deckers tend to do...hehehe
